Maïwenn Legoff

From childhood, Maïwenn was attracted to the stage. She first learned music and then began the circus in Guérande. She learns to move her body, to play roles and especially to surpass herself.

She dreamed of this life and decided to go to Lycée Savina in Côtes d’Armor in 2014, where she obtained a diploma in circus that would then take her to Montpellier in the Centre des Arts du Cirque Balthazar. In 2016, she took part in preparatory and professional training, first as a hand-to-hand acrobat and then as a stationary trapeze artist. She also learns pedagogy with children, participates in multiple shows and projects with the Domaine d’O.

In 2019, she left school and Montpellier to return to her peninsula where she met Fred Deb’ at the Rencontres de Danse Aérienne in Saint Nazaire and took part in the Battle de Corde Lisse.
Fred Deb’ offers her a contract of civic service in her association, where she discovers the fabric, the rope, the cocoon, the straps and enters the amateur troupe to continue her research and develop her show “Pantin”.

During the various educational projects or internships of the association, she teaches with Nadège Le Corre, aerial dance to children and adults. After that, she became the initiator of circus arts at Fred Deb’s new circus school, La Volière.

Besides this, she trains herself to improve her technique in several disciplines (trapeze, smooth rope, fabric, balance, wears.. ) and continues to develop her artistic vocabulary in the air.
