Chiara is an Aerial & Circus Artist specialized in Static Trapeze. She was born in North Italy at the Swiss Border where she started skiing, dancing, playing piano and experimenting with the arts.
At the age of 10 she moved to Rome where studied, worked and performed in cinema and theatre. She found her way into circus from street theatre and clown and started to practice different skills (acrobatics, juggling) focusing mainly on the study of aerial techniques. She fell completely in love with trapeze and, since then, never stopped practicing the discipline.
After many years of self-taught aerial studies, she attended The National Centre for Circus Arts in London where she obtained a BA Hons Degree in Circus Arts specializing in Static Trapeze. Chiara is really creative on trapeze and her work integrates technical, theatrical and movement elements. She also performs on Aerial Hoop, Single Point Trapeze, Silks and loves to experiment on everything suspended in the air.
Alongside her circus career, Chiara has a Degree in Performing Arts with a specialization in Cinema. She performs nationally and internationally with circus and works as teacher for The National Centre for Circus Arts in London and La Grainerie in Toulouse.
