Camille Judic
Graduated from ESAC (Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque de Bruxelles), in 2018, Camille never stops developing her research, her technique and all forms of experimentation around and with the Aerial Straps. Her work is in perpetual evolution. Passionate about exploring the countless possibilities of the body in movement and suspension, the vocabulary is put at the service of a corporality, a theatricality and artistic purposes.
Trained in a classical technique, which she immediately revisited, she has developed a singular and unique approach, signature of her aerial body states.
Transcended, the straps are then imagined as partners of dance, of game, which allow to move, to express oneself, to feel, by forgetting, the time of one moment, the Gravity.
Camille has performed for several companies such as Les Argonautes (Be), Panama Pictures (Nl), Samuel Mathieu (Fr), Cirque du Soleil (Ca)… She has also participated in many exploratory laboratories with companies (Rasposo, Raoul Lambert…).
Since November 2020, Camille has become Associate Artist at La Volière. As an associate artist at La Volière, a cultural and artistic place dedicated to Circus Arts in St Nazaire (44), Camille will benefit, until the premiere of Hecata’s Soul, from an administration/diffusion support, a creation support and a coproduction. La Volière will host part of her residencies, and include Camille in cultural and territorial actions; including the staging of a collective of amateurs, regular workshops and events at La Volière, and more broadly an involvement in the development of the Circus in the Pays Ligérien.
Camille teaches regularly at the Circus School of Amiens and at the ESAC of Brussels, as a guest teacher, teaches at the festival Les Rencontres de Danse Aérienne and regularly offers workshops…
