Chiara is an aerial circus artist specializing in fixed trapeze. She was born in northern Italy on the Swiss border where she began skiing, dancing, playing the piano and experimenting with the arts.
At the age of 10, she moved to Rome where she studied, worked and performed in film and theater. She found her way into the circus from street theater and clowning and began to practice different techniques (acrobatics, juggling) focusing mainly on the study of aerial techniques. She fell completely in love with the trapeze and since then has never stopped practicing the discipline.
After many years of self-taught study, she joined the National Centre for Circus Arts in London, where she obtained her diploma specializing in fixed trapeze.
Chiara is very creative on the trapeze and her work integrates technical, theatrical and choreographic elements. She also performs on the circle, trapeze dance and fabric. She loves to experiment with anything that is suspended in the air.
Alongside her circus career, Chiara holds a degree in Performing Arts with a specialization in film.
She performs nationally and internationally in circus shows and teaches at the National Centre for Circus Arts in London and La Grainerie in Toulouse.
